Challenge: Create a sun illustration for a hypothetical CBS Sunday Morning News bumper

Description: For this illustration, I wanted to do a simple, graphic, quilt-inspired piece. I incorporated some of my personal favorite quilting patterns and paired them with bold, warm, earthy colors with a little sun radiating from the center.
